Activity Update

The Board is in transition to this years Officers but discussions about activities are underway. We were unsuccessful in setting up several events for the Spring - boat cruise, air station visit, golf -- but are working on Sand Gnats night for this Summer and Picnic this Fall.

ARMY-NAVY GAME

The South Carolina Low Country Chapter had their annual Army Navy Game gathering on game day at a local watering hole. About 50 of the faithful assembled and thoroughly enjoyed the game, food, drink and camaraderie.

Among those cheering on the Navy Blue and Gold were a contingent of ‘58ers whose day jobs are certainly not as singers” Pete Berg, Kelson Slayman, Lee Polhill, Bob Mason and Bill Pendley.

The prize for most dedicated went to Tony Diaz '88 and his wife for coming with 5 day old daughter, Alona Grace.

The Chapter’s next event will be a golf outing this Spring.
